Overview

Built over the Massachusetts Turnpike, eight lanes of highway, and two active MBTA railways, Lyrik Back Bay is the most significant project of its kind, completed in the City of Boston in over 40 years. Formerly Parcel 12, Lyrik was designed to frame the western sky, harnessing the sunset to celebrate and renew the city’s energy and people. Now, Lyrik anchors Newbury Street with a lush, expansive plaza and takes its place as Boston’s gateway.

Retail

Lyrik began unfolding in the Summer of 2024 with the opening of citizenM’s largest hotel and Rivian’s first Boston-based outpost. Come 2025, Lyrik will be in full bloom with the arrival of Pink Carrot, CHICHA San Chen, George Howell Coffee, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and Avra Estiatorio.

Office

Lyrik is co-anchored by 1001 Boylston, a 450,000-square-foot lab and office space and the new home to the CarGurus Global Headquarters and The LEGO Group.
